 Hotel close to Malgund beach
As the name suggest if you choose beach view rooms which you need to book in advance , you get a good view from room . They have their own restaurant , breakfast is served by 8.30 and morning tea is served after 7.00 . If you are visiting on week ends or holiday , you need to inform them about dinner in advance .  Comfortable Stay, Good View
We discovered Beachfront by chance while driving around searching for a place to stay, and a good discovery it was. With neat, clean rooms with a good view, the resort also serves decent food. Choose the rooms that are on second levels. They have a view of sea. better to go with single rooms. We were two couples and thought of taking the cottage with two rooms. But those cottages are not very well planned with no common sitting area, barely any space with too many beds shoved in and view is nothing really. 
Service was decent inspite of us being the only guests in the entire resort. 
But warning for people addicted to their phones - very poor network. One has to walk to various places to get connected but even that is inadequate. We welcomed the break but may not be feasible for many. 
They have very sweet well mannered dogs who come and post themselves outside your door for very personalised security services (with very polite begging thrown in) and that was our highlight!

 Amazing Stay at Beachfront Villas ...
I recently visited Ganapatipule and we stayed at BeachFront Villas. The property is amazing, we got ourselves the two bedroom bunglow (ask for this and go for it - abit costly but experience, you will have is amazing!!!) and it was amazing, both  in terms of view, privacy, food.  We stayed here for 4 days and we only left longing for more....The Malgund beach is right in-front, with private entrance across the road provided to beach from their property. Evening sunset enjoy from your villa or the beach the view is mesmerizing .  Breakfast is complimentary - however you can order few dishes ala-carte.  Drive to Ganapatipule Mandir is 2.5~3 kms,  Kokan Darshan Museum, Magic Vortex, Aquarium, Wax Museum are at driving distance of 3~5 kms ( you practically reach in 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic!) . Only other place we visited was Jaigad - wanted to do more but with kids interested more in beach and water-sports where-else do you want to go.

Yes, they make Modaks and Sol-kadhi - do ask for it. However for modaks they do need to be reminded.
 
After checking few places, we zeroed in to buy mangoes from Mr. Ulhas Anant Muley (+919403264047), they are whole-sale dealers and do export a large quantity of these. The quality and taste of the natural hapus is awesome. - driving distance is 15 minutes from property. 

We started our journey from Pune we took route from Karad via Amba Ghat. The journey and road was simply great,  large parts of the road have been recently tarred, so ride was smooth. On return journey, I must mention for lunch after crossing Amba-ghat just a few kms, immediately on your left you will see Riverside county (currently managed by Kyriad prestige), when travelling with family and looking for an extremely decent lunch/dinner place - nothing beats it. Its a nice resort, if one wants to stay feel do check it out. You can check this property out on Google Maps as well.

 Wonderful trip to ganpatipule through ruralescape.in
We toured ganpatipule through ruralescape.in.... the owner Mr. Vinod Kodambekar had organised our entire tour.... we visited the lessor known but extremely beautiful spots, enjoyed authentic Marathi food.... had high at beautiful sea side cliffs..

 Excellent
A little North of Ganpatipule, Malgund is everything you would like in a beach resort. Quiet, unpeoppled, and serene. The resort itself has 14 rooms and two bungalows. The staff is good and responsive. Rooms are clean and adequate without being spare. There are no thalis available but the food is good and reasonably priced. For example 2 dinner and 2 breakfasts for two persons would cost 1500 or so inclusive of non veg. Beware of weekends though when hordes from Mumbai Pune or elsewhere may descend to spoil a place that is otherwise tranquil. The Manager Sanju is very friendly and attentive to guest needs. 
The beach is a 2 min walk across the road and is mostly empty.

 Excellent Stay at Beachfront Villas !!
Whoa !! Whatta place. We as a family of four enjoyed every bit of it. The beach is visible from the rooms since they are at an elevation. Food was sumptuous and staff hospitable. Made a few friends as well and loved the lonely and clean beach.

 Comfortable Rooms
This property is outside of Ganpatipule, right opposite a beach. The beach is just across the road, a walk of 5 minutes. The property is new, and the rooms are very spacious. In fact these are much larger as compared to a typical hotel.
We had booked rooms on the ground floor, and hence we did not have any sea view. However, we did not really mind that, as we had a nice porch to ourselves, where we could comfortably lounge and chat.
Food is an issue, as there are no eateries nearby. The hotel food was good enough, but i found it a bit expensive at 150 bucks for a thali.
The service was okeyish, but the caretake was very good and helpful.

 Excellent villas with sea facing
Stay , rooms,service  were good non veg and veg food was excellent in taste specially non veg fish and chicken both , we have tried modak they were superb ...

 Good Place near Ganpatipule at Malgund
Traveled with my family and friends This property is located 4 km. away from Ganapatipule at a place called Malgund.  Beach is not very visible but then this is the common issue in Konkan due to Wadi

Pros : 
Great place in terms of ambience.
Nice cottages and very clean place
Place is walkable distance to beach 

Cons:
Owner really need to take care of food quality and food taste. I am not a foody person so it doesn't matter to me but then people who love food will not go back again if hey don't change the catering services.

 Should be renamed as Sea Front Villas and not Beach Front.
Traveled with my wife this week from Mumbai. It was a grueling 8 hour drive, due to the horrendous roads of the old Mumbai-Goa highway. This property is located 4 km. away from Ganapatipule at a place called Malgund. Thanks to Google Maps, we could get the exact location of this property. They haven't advertised anywhere in ganapatipule or Malgund. 

On entering the gates, we expected a small reception desk but instead, a guy at the gate stopped us and had a small chit in his hand which stated the list of arrivals for the day. He took us directly to our room which was a slight disappointment. The beach was nowhere visible. We could just see the sea which looked far away from the property. The property is covered with big palm trees which makes it difficult to even catch a glimpse pf the sea. On entering our room, we observed that the walls were dirty (by the way there were also small blood stains on the walls). The toilet and basin had a couple of "gutka" stains. Requested our gatekeeper cum receptionist to ask someone to clean it. Instead he took the responsibility of cleaning the commode as well with just a dirty toilet brush. Otherwise no other complaints regarding the room. The air conditioner worked just fine. Breakfast is complimentary here, with very limited options: Poha or chole-puri. Tried lunch & dinner here too and its best to avoid eating here. If you wish to try authentic Konkani delicacies it would be best to visit small family run local eateries which serve some mouth watering sea food. The staff are polite & courteous although their service is little slow. 

Overall, Beachfront Villas is a onetime visit providing budget accommodation.
